This is a full-time, remote role (yes, work from home!) for candidates based in the Philippines, so a stable internet connection and a decent work setup are key. However, for this role, frequent in-person gatherings or meetings are expected.
💪 What you’ll be doing
As a Lead Business Development Manager, you’ll head the frontline of our sales efforts—coaching a small but mighty BD team, while also winning and growing key accounts yourself.

- Lead the BD team: coach members on sales strategy, performance, and best practices that drive both growth and team development
- Own the initial client journey: work closely with decision-makers to guide them from interest to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and value-driven start with NextPay
- Pursue new business opportunities across industries through strategic outreach, product trials, and partnerships
- Refine and scale BD processes: build playbooks and improve systems to boost efficiency and team impact
- Drive results with data: track performance, manage pipelines, and forecast outcomes using CRM dashboards and key metrics
- Collaborate across teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Operations) to align strategies and ensure seamless onboarding and handoffs
- Lead client-facing demos, meetings, or events that showcase NextPay’s value and close deals
- Help shape our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy by sharing insights on market trends, customer needs, and product feedback
- Stay organized and curious: manage calendars, follow-ups, and documentation while keeping an eye on market shifts to spark new ideas
